~ Domaine Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) Portfolio ~

Because of its exceptional geographical location, its unique wine-growing site and history, Chateau d'Aussieres is one of those wild, natural places that gives an impression of great force & beauty. These words of Baron Eric explains the partnership set up between Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and Domaines Listel to revitalise one of the oldest & most beautiful wine-making estates in the Narbonne area.

Traditional Languedoc grape varietals: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan, completed with Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay. This vineyard is blessed with great terroirs. The oak barrels are supplied by the DBR (Lafite) cooperage in Pauillac. Absolutely rich & delicious wines.

Elegant attack with delicate tannins. Real Harmony due to the presence of 4 grape varieties. The wine is balanced and ready to drink.

Typical, with good aromatic intensity and the characteristic nose of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from the Languedoc. Attractive notes of liquorice and blackcurrant, resulting from the temperate, calm weather conditions of the vintage. Fresh and delicate on the palate. Very full and complex, each variety adding its qualities to the overall balance.
