Vosne Romanee 2005/06 (RV) |
|
A gentle touch of wood toast frames even riper and spicy black and blue fruit aromas that lead to delicious, round and sappy flavors of mocha and plum extract that really coats the palate on the serious and structured finish.
This is riper than I personally care for but the structural elements are in balance and this should age. - Robert Parker

| Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Aux Perdrix 2006 |
|
Toasty oak, fresh black cherries, and spices make up the aromatic profile of the 2003 Nuits-St.-Georges Aux Perdrix. This medium to full-bodied wine is suave, satin-textured, and lush in the attack as well as mid-palate. Filled with spicy blackberries.

| Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Les Terres Blanches 2007 |
A gentle touch of wood frames expressive aromas of melon and straw that lead to very rich and full-bodied flavors that display a high level of maturity on the citrusy and persistent finish. This is not especially complex but it is delicious and should age for a few years.

| Echezeaux Grand Cru 2006 |
Textured, medium to full-bodied personality bursts with black cherries, spices, and blackberries. This seductive wine is already a hedonist's dream yet there's no reason to believe it won't stand the test of time. The flavors offer acceptable detail and the tannic structure makes for a softly chewy finish.
