The Schlumberger has the largest vineyard holdings of any domaine in Alsace, they are also one of the more reliable producers of the region. Harvesting over 120 hectares of vines each year, including 50 hectares in 4 Grand Crus: Kitterle, Saering, Kessler and Spiegel. Most remarkably, the vineyards provide Schlumberger with 100% of their harvest, the family buying in no fruit or unfinished wine from other growers.
The pinnacle is reached with the Schlumberger Collection, which comprises four wines, all Grand Cru, two Pinot Gris and two Gewurtraminer (Cuvee Christiner, Cuvee Anne, Pinot Gris Vendange Tardives, Cuvee Clarisse).

The robe is a light yellow with green reflections of good intensity. The wine has a fine youthful quality. The nose is reserved, delicate. One perceives fine fruity hints, citrus fruits, candied orange zests. The complex nose shows its reserve but indicates a good degree of maturity of the grapes. The onset in the mouth is slender, the alcohol support well balanced. Complex flavours remain reserved but with a dominant of citrus fruits: lemon. The structure is delicate, well marked by freshness.

The robe is a light yellow with clear reflections. The wine has a youthful quality. The nose is pleasant, distinguished, expressive and reveals a floral dominant of rose, peony. Slightly candied, one perceives the exotic fruit, litchi and after aeration, one discovers notes of ginger and a hint of menthol. The nose displays a beautiful typicity, without extravagance but with preciseness. The same flavours of exotic fruits, ginger and floral of rose perceived in the nose are found, with a slight touch of bitterness on the finish.

The robe is a golden yellow with clear reflections of a very beautiful intensity. The nose is pleasant, distinguished, and displays a full-blown, ripe character of high class. A dominant of citrus fruits, candied lemon and great minerality. The finish has a beautiful length and a delicate and refreshing vivacity. The wine displays plenitude and all the charm of evolution.

The robe is a golden yellow with green reflections. The nose is very intense, smoky and toasty with hints of roasted grapes. The onset is marrowy, rich and unctuous and possesses a certain smoothness. The mouth evolves on a peppered, acidulated and very delicate balance with a ripe acidity. The mouth is mineral and savoury, and ends on hints of caramel. The mouth finish offers a good length and brings back smoky hints.

| The robe is a lemon yellow with green reflections. The nose is pleasant, expressive and displays a dominant of fine candied notes but also a delicate vegetal, chlorophyll, menthol. Light floral note of rose. The whole is enhanced with aeration or one perceives spicy hints. The nose is original and characteristic of the vintage. The range of ethereal flavours, marshmallow, rose water ends on a delicate bitterness. The finish has a beautiful length and a well balanced vivacity.

The robe is a light yellow with green reflections of a mild intensity. The wine has a youthful quality. The pleasant, marked and distinguished nose shows a dominant of candied scents, mango, passion fruits, citrus fruits, lemon, light spicy hint, ginger. The nose is fully dominated by mango, followed by all the scents mentioned above. The exquisite range of flavours displays mango, passion fruit, citrus fruits, lemon, white flesh fruits, peach, apricot and ginger. The balance of the wine is a little heady, but the minerality of the great terroirs always guarantee a beautiful freshness.

The robe is a golden yellow with topaz reflections of a great intensity. The wine presents an evolution. The very pleasant nose is dominated by candied flavours of overmaturity, empyreumatic, toasted, caramel, delicate botrytis, dry apricot, quince, orange. Aeration enhances the whole and reveals a truffle hint. The beautifully splendid nose is complex, very pure and shows nobility. The onset in the mouth is full, liquorish and full-bodied. The range of complex flavours, empyreumatic, fruity, quince apple, caramel, mushrooms, botrytis and apricot. The finish has a beautiful length and a marked vivacity; the richness of this wine is closer to a Noble Grapes Selection and shows of a high level of balance.

The robe is a buttercup yellow with clear reflections of good intensity. The nose is pleasant, frank and distinguished, and displays a dominant of candied flavours, fruity, exotic fruits, rose, passion fruit, peach, lychee. The range of flavours is remarkable of purity without too much exuberance. The alcoholic base is full-bodied. The range of flavours is distinguished, floral, rose, candied with white flesh fruits, pear, exotic fruits, litchi, as well as a hint of citrus fruits, lemon. The finish offers a good length, the vivacity is frank and the bitterness persistent.

| The nose is pleasant, frank and displays a dominant of candied scents, fruity, peach, pear, exotic fruits, caramel, lemongrass, citrus fruits, honey, slightly floral. The alcoholic base is full-bodied. One evolves on a sharp and egy medium. The range of flavours is complex, fruity, lemon, citrus fruits, pear, caramel. The finish offers a good length, a frank vivacity and a touch of bitterness. The structure is superb, rich and tasty. The vine is not dominated by botrytis and maintains a lot of distinction.

The robe is a deep golden yellow with brown reflections of a great intensity. Botrytis, honey, polish, toasted, empyreumatic, candied fruits, apricot, cooked apples, caramel. One evolves on a sharp and precise medium that refreshes and refines the structure. The range of complex flavours, caramel, toast, candied fruits, apricots, honey is quite simply splendid.
