A wine made by Jean-Guillaume Prats, the winemaker & co-proprietor of Chateau Cos d'Estournel.
Robert Parker 89pts: The dark purple-hued 2005 rouge reveals a sumptuous bouquet of licorice, black currants, black olives, smoke, and damp earth. Fleshy and supple-textured with good tannin as well as decent acidity, this seriously-endowed, complex effort can be consumed over the next 12-14 years

A wine made by Hubert de Bouard, the winemaker of Chateau Angelus.
Robert Parker 90pts: His 2004 La Fleur de Bouard (80% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc as well as a dollop of Cabernet Sauvignon) is a fabulous sleeper of the vintage. Its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by scents of cassis, blackberries, smoke, licorice, and background new oak. Medium to full-bodied with fabulous fruit, supple tannin, and low acidity.
La Fleur St Georges is the made from the younger vines of La Fleur du Bouard. Deep colour with shades of purple. A slightly smoky nose with a bit of freshness, very round on the palate with velvety tannins.
