Parri is the Aboriginal word used by the Kaurna people to describe the creeks, rivers and gullies in the region. The estate produces premium quality wine from Estate grown fruit using Single Vineyard management techniques. They focus on elegant wines which express the vineyard's distinct fruit terrior located in the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. Sitting on the former 'Ingoldby' property at McLaren, Parri Estate produces only estate grown wines with exceptional quality, full flavored wines with an obvious commitment to quality'

Cabernet Shiraz 2004 (RV) |

Made of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Shiraz, this wine displays a cherry red colour, aromas of red currants and floral hints of spice and herbs. Berry fruits dominate a medium bodied and elegant palate which has a restrained, soft mouthfeel and fine grained tannins. Complements a variety of foods including pasta and red meat dishes.

The 2006 Parri Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep black colour. It displays aromas and flavours of black currants, plums, fruit cake, mocha and spice with a hint of herbaceous character typical of the variety. A fruit dominant style with a round and full palate., firm tannins and great length that really over delivers. A suitable partner to a variety of richly flavoured foods such as red meats and aged cheeses.

Spicy black and red cherry fruit with that lilt of Viognier showing in particular on the long finish: ripe, soft and supple tannins.

An unwooded wine which displays elegant cool climate characters. A pale yellow and straw colour with green hues. The nose shows peaches, honey suckle and some white pepper aromas. The palate is intense with great length and crisp acidity which offers citrus, stone fruit, melon and spice characters. An easy drinking style best consumed by itself or with Asian and chicken cuisine.

The 2007 Parri Estate Sauvignon Blanc is classically cool climate in style with minimal colour. It displays aromas and flavors of citrus, passionfruit, lemon grass and lime. A fresh and zesty style the palate is generous, crisp and has great length from clean acidity.
