Arresting fragrance. Lychee, melon, ripe apple fruit, limoncella and minerals in the fruity nose. The palate is like endless tiny jabs of flavor; perfectly balanced with a semolina sweetness in every way - fragrance, texture, flavor, structure - an outstanding & amazing "starter" wine.

A flagship dry white from Diel. A prestigious Cuvee of Pinot Gris & Pinot Blanc, barrel fermented & aged, named after their son, VICTOR Diel.

It is is a baroque cathedral of Riesling; abundant aromas of apricot; the palate is all kinds of rich and pitted fruits, but the balance & elegance is stricking; the powdery minerality melts into the finish.

Scents of minerals lightly dusted with talcum powder can be detected in the nose. Light to medium-bodied and soft, this friendly wine offers expressive flavors of apples, pears, and smoky minerals in its velvety- textured personality.

This is refined and harmonious. The peach, vanilla, lemon custard and mineral notes mingle effortlessly with the creamy texture. It's all supported by a vibrant structure. The intensity builds to a long, long finish.

Pale golden yellow.Rich aromas of apricot, quince and sweet spice mingle above a hint of botrytis. Complex, unctuous tropical fruits and a salty minerality marry well on the palate. Nicely balanced and very long on the finish.

Diel's 2004 Riesling Eiswein brings together pickings from several gentle, deep-soiled Dorsheim sites that are year by year the principle source of this estate's frozen Riesling harvests. At once almost overwhelmingly citric and sweet, enormously dense and intense.
