2022 Vintage Report: Burgundy experienced one of the hottest, driest, and sunniest summers on record in 2022. Throughout the growing season, from April to September, the region basked in near-record heat and abundant sunshine. However, timely rains mitigated the effects of the scorching temperatures, ensuring that the grapes displayed minimal signs of stress typically associated with such intense heat. Despite the extreme weather, the grapes remained healthy and achieved optimal ripeness.
