The texture is light and fresh, and the balance is thoroughly correct. The grapes are from 1.33ha on the plateau above Les Clos (lieu-dit Sur Les Clos, but can't be labelled as such). The medium weight flavors aren't quite as dense though they definitely finer with excellent punch that carries over to the detailed, balanced, clean and nicely dry finale. There is noticeably more concentration and depth of flavour than in the Petit Chablis. The sleek, intense and stony broad-shouldered flavors are also quite seductive thanks to the abundance of sappy dry extract that buffers the firm acid spine shaping the youthfully austere and beautifully long finish. This decidedly compact effort is a very dense 2023, indeed it's almost thick, but the palate impression remains vibrant and balanced. The caressing and succulent yet powerful larger-bodied flavors are overtly stony on the long and sappy finish that is supported by lemon-tinged acidity.
