BH 92-94: A pungent nose consists of firm reduction and wood. Otherwise there is excellent richness to the nicely concentrated flavors that possess excellent volume thanks to the abundance of sappy dry extract that softens the otherwise firm and robust tannic spine shaping the impressively persistent finish. Like several of these upper level wines, this is very backward and will need ample patience.
