Winemaker notes

The 2020 vintage was rich with abundant rainfall in Spring and Fall, with a glorious dry summer in between. Ideal conditions for gorgeous flowering and production of healthy big clusters. All our grape varieties flourished happily. The result is a Lirac Rouge 2020 with a succulent nose of jammy red fruit (strawberry, black currant, blackberry), combined with spice notes that come forward on the palate, and wisps of menthol. Superb long finish, outstanding tension, smooth, elegant tannins along with roasted notes expressing masterful winemaking in concrete tanks and barrels.
