Diel Riesling Dorsheim

WA 90-91: The 2019 Dorsheim Riesling is pure, flinty and fruity on the fine and elegant nose. Round and juicy on the palate, this is a generous but delicate and seductive Riesling with a lovely mouthfeel, remarkable finesse and stimulating salinity. Tasted as a still-cloudy barrel sample in May 2020.

JS 92: Plenty of ripe-apricot here and some delicate, spicy notes, too. At once rather juicy, but also seriously elegant with a long finish, in which the tannins, minerals and acidity interlock neatly to form a firm whole. Better after 2020. Screw cap.
