Burghound 87-90: Subtle but not invisible wood influence sets off the spicy aromas of plum, black cherry and freshly turned earth. There is good minerality to the more finely textured medium weight flavors that are shaped by slightly finer-grained tannins though the finish is again noticeably warm.
