Bodegas Caro

In 1998, the idea was raised about forming a partnership between between
Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and the Catena family. Initial enthusiasm
was rapidly transformed into a project to produce a single wine combining French
and Argentinean cultures, and two grape varieties, Malbec and Cabernet
Sauvignon, which are the specialities of the two estates. The combination has
made a rich and refined wine; a harmonious balance between the Argentinean and
Bordeaux styles.
