Burghound 92-94♥: An interestingly mix is comprised by notes of earth, spice, ripe dark currant and wisps of the sauvage plus a floral top note. The rich and highly energetic larger-scaled flavors possess excellent mid-palate density that coats the palate with sappy dry extract and buffers the very firm tannic spine shaping the intensely mineral-driven, compact and quite serious finale. This is potentially excellent, and better than usual, but patience advised.

Wine Advocate 92-94: The 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Murgers unwinds in the glass with aromas of cassis, cherries, dark berries, loamy soil, warm spices and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and textural, its broad attack segues into a deep, layered and lively core, concluding with a saline finish.
