Amelia Park Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Amelia Park Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Amelia Park's best parcel of cabernet is hand-picked, then destemmed into open fermenters and gently plunged on skins for two months, prior to barrelling down for eighteen months. Earthy forest floor, dark brooding fruits with notes of cedar and graphite. The palate is elegant and seamless with fine dusty tannins. This wine offers excellent cellaring potential.

2017
James Suckling 92: A supple, succulent cabernet that has plenty of ripe dark cherries and berries. The cedar and vanillin oak registers strong on the nose and palate and will bed into the rich, luscious dark fruit in the next three or four years. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
2018
James Suckling 92: Attractively fresh, leafy and minty aromas here with ripe raspberries and mulberries, leading to a palate that has a very smooth-honed tannin texture. Plush, even flavors of plums and chocolate. Drink now. Screw cap.
2021
Ray Jordan 96: Captures the elegance and stylishness of this vintage in Margaret River. Such a bright hi-tone wine with a perfumed nose of blackcurrant laced with red fruits and a little graphite minerality. The palate presents a refined combination of effortlessly fine fruit supported with chalky tannins and fine-grained oak. Still quite tight and has great cellaring potential.
