Billaud-Simon Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre

This climat is situated alongside the former Roman road that links the town of Auxerrre with the town of Tonnerre. As extension of the Grand crus, this is the most diverse of the premiere crus with a very complete profile : mineral, floral, oiliness body and rich character.

Beautiful white gold hue with greenish tinges. This 1er Cru offers an exceptional aromatic profile with mineral notes and spice. Palate: the perfect balance between strength, freshness, sweet fruity notes and intense floral aromas. A complex, elegant and remarkably harmonious wine.

BH 91-93: An exuberantly floral nose freely reveals its aromas of spice, seashore, apple and enough wood influence to mention. The focused and beautifully refined flavors ooze minerality on the almost painfully intense, bone-dry and strikingly long finale. This is very stylish as well as classy. Well worth checking out.
