Burghound 93♥: A more floral and prettier nose features notes of both red and dark currant with more spice and a bit less earth. There is excellent mid-palate density to the more powerful and slightly more voluminous flavors that possess a seductive mouthfeel before terminating in a strikingly complex, balanced and impressively persistent finish. It's extremely rare to find villages-level wines that offer this level of quality so if you can find it, buy it.

2021

Burghound 90♥: A perfumed, ripe and very fresh nose speaks mostly of wild dark currant, anise and more discreet wood influence. There is better mid-palate density to the energetic and well-detailed flavors that coat the mouth on the youthfully austere, long and better-balanced finale. Lovely and worth checking out.

Decanter 94: This wine features alluring ripe mulberry fruit aromas with hints of minerals and spice. The texture boasts impressive ripeness and density while retaining the freshness typical of the vintage, and firm tannins carry us to a lingering finish. The wine is produced from tiny grape clusters produced from six old vine parcels in En Jouise, Carougeot, Les Murots, Les Crais, Vignes Belles, and Les Seuvrées. The grapes are destemmed and gently fermented before ageing in cask (50% new). This wine is among the top village-level Gevreys of the vintage.

2022

Burghound 90♥: A more complex and spicier nose of both red and dark berries is trimmed in discreet yet easily perceptible wood. Somewhat curiously given the fruit from which this is made, the palate impression of the middleweight flavors is not super-dense, indeed this isn't more concentrated than the Clos Prieur (though by no means dilute).
