Wine Advocate 92: Matured with 20% to 25% new oak, the 2023 Condrieu is elegant and vibrant, offering up aromas of honeysuckle, white fruits and apricot, with only the faintest touch of oak. Medium- to full-bodied, round and sappy, it is enveloping, with a seamless core of fruit and a long, delicate finish. This is a textbook expression of the variety’s distinctive profile.
James Suckling 92: A juicy, mellow and delicious Condrieu with aromas of peaches, sweet lemons, white flowers and some almond milk. Medium-bodied with a charming, velvety and rounded character to the palate and a fresh finish. Drink or hold.
Vinous 90: Aged in a combination of new French oak barriques (1/3) and stainless steel tanks (2/3), the 2023 Condrieu shines with ripe apricot, honeysuckle, white peach and a splash of melon. Concentrated and fresh, the extroverted 2023 imparts lovely intensity, culminating with a crisp finish.
Decanter 92: Quite restrained in fruit and certainly full-bodied, but not heavy, with an agreeably dry finish. It’s very classic, with fairly low acidity and well-integrated oak that's not too prominent. Drink this as young as possible. Matured in 70% stainless steel, 30% new oak, for 10 months.
