The "Les Fuées" parcel is situated in the North of the village, just after Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru.

Intense ruby red hue. The nose reveals intense and complex aromas of ripe fruits underpinned by a touch of smoke and spice. The smooth attack gives way to a full-bodied, elegant palate.

Burghound 91-94♥: The aromas are a bit riper and mix both red and black pinot fruit notes as well as a subtle hint of minerality. The flavors however are a striking mix of size and finesse as there is incredible volume here yet this dances across the palate even as the incredible amount of sève coats the mouth. Wow, this is potentially at another level as there is depth, breadth and huge length yet everything remains in impeccable balance. In short, this is one of the very top 1ers of the vintage.

Vinous 92: (includes Faiveley's "two buckets" of Musigny) Bright ruby-red. Precise aromas of red and black berries, minerals and violet. Juicy, sharply delineated and intense, with terrific inner-mouth energy and a real whiplash of fruit on the back. Finishes very long and perfumed, with firm tannins and lovely lift. I never would have guessed the vintage.

Wine Advocate 90-92: The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, plums, vine smoke, spices and petals. Medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless, with melting tannins and a pretty, giving profile, it will show well on release.

James Suckling 94: Initially a little smoky on the nose, with bark, clove, incense and dark-cherry aromas, it’s spicy and rich on the palate, with layers of ripe cherry fruit intertwined with spice and toast notes. The tannins are ripe and composed. Drinkable now, but better from 2026.
