2019

BH 92-94: This is also agreeably fresh while displaying a bit more earth character on the ultra-spicy and very pretty mix of poached plum and red and dark berries, especially cherry. There is once again a lovely texture to the sappy, delicious and succulent broad-shouldered flavors that possess a fleshy mouthfeel, all wrapped in a lingering if slightly warm and youthfully austere finale. This is not as dense as the best of these grands crus, but I like the sense of harmony and overall complexity.

2018

BH 92-94: Once again the nose is strikingly floral though with plenty of sauvage On allocation character suffusing the fresh mix of red and dark currant, earth and forest floor. The racy, intense and appealingly delineated larger-scaled flavors possess focused power on the balanced, clean and beautifully long finish. This is a big but harmonious effort that should age gracefully for many years.

2017

BH 94: A discreet application of wood sets off the ultra-fresh blend of both red and blue pinot fruit, forest floor and suggestions of sauvage character. Here too there is excellent size, weight and power to the well-delineated and solidly stony flavors that possess lovely balance and persistence along with excellent complexity on the impressive long, linear and serious finale. This tightly wound effort will require extended patience but it's certainly promising.
