This sunny terroir is located just above Clos de Tart and represents a geological symphony. Its soil, strewn with outcrops of rock in places, bears witness to a rare mineral richness. Extremely low in organic matter, this terroir gives the wine an exceptionally deep minerality. Here, the roots of the vines plunge deep into the rocky soil, absorbing the mineral complexity of their environment. The wines from this plot are crystalline, reflecting the influence of the ancient stones in the soil, which impart a distinctive character, exceptional minerality and purity.

2021: The wine reveals a fresh bouquet of red fruits, complemented by a refined texture, where concentrated mineral-infused flavours display excellent delineation on a pure, long, and youthfully austere finish.
2020
Burghound 89-91♥: A ripe and very fresh nose of red and dark berries displays a mentholated top note. The racy, sleek and utterly delicious flavors possess a succulent mid-palate as well as a beguiling texture, all wrapped in a lingering and moderately structured finale that is supported by bright acidity. Lovely.
2021
Burghound 89-91♥: This is aromatically similar to the Bourgogne if slightly cooler still. I very much like the sophisticated texture of the more concentrated and more mineral-suffused flavors that possess excellent delineation on the clean, long, youthfully austere and balanced finale. This is lovely and worth considering.
