BEN is short for the Italian forename Beniamino, which is often bestowed upon the youngest and most beloved son. And this is true of Nittardi’s BEN, a long-cherished dream of the family and, since 2012, the first Maremma white wine.
BEN is made from 100% Vermentino, a grape varietal indigenous to Tuscany and found along the entire Mediterranean coast. The ideal microclimate in Southern Maremma, not far from the Tyrrhenian coast, gives BEN its refreshing taste and subtle hint of saline minerality.

2024: A vibrant yellow with golden relections. The nose is delicately fragrant, revealing loral notes alongside peach, honeydew, and exotic fruits. On the palate, a rich texture is balanced by citrus zest and a refreshing saline touch. The elegant inish lingers with a pronounced minerality, capturing the essence of its coastal terroir.
