The name « Fourchaume » comes from its fork-shaped location at the crossroads. Situated on the right bank of the Chablis river, this Premier Cru enjoys full sun exposure, giving the wine plenty of flavour.
Notes of toasted bread, honeysuckle and lemon give it a freshness all of its own! At first, the texture seems supple, then becomes tauter and more iodised. The finish is tangy, with hints of lemon zest.
Pair with sea bream carpaccio with citrus fruit, or prawns on the grill with tomatoes and feta cheese.
