Burghound 92-94♥: A petrol-scented nose of acacia blossom, soft citrus and a pretty array of spice nuances is trimmed in all but invisible oak. The broad-shouldered flavors are rich to the point of opulence though with no lack of power and minerality to the palate soaking finish that is balanced, stony and impressively long. This too is clearly built for extended keeping and a wine that should reward a decade plus of it.

Wine Advocate 91-93: The 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Porusot is charming and expressive, offering up notes of pear, orange oil, nutmeg and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and elegantly textural palate built around a lively spine and concluding with a saline finish.

Vinous 92-94: The 2023 Meursault Les Porusots ler Cru comes from two parcels. It has a fragrant bouquet with crushed stone infusing the citrus fruit and pressed white flower aromas. This is very focused and refined. The palate is well balanced with a keen thread of acidity, lightly spiced with a touch of wild honey toward the finish. I often feel that this cuvée is underestimated by Roulot cognoscenti. On the other hand, in this vintage, it seems just one step behind his other Premier Crus.
