Collection: Dassai Sake

Founded effectively in 1948 by the Sakurai family after wartime challenges (roots to 1910), it revived as Asahi Shuzo producing standard sake like Asahi Fuji for local markets. By the 1980s, facing declining sales, third-generation leader Hiroshi Sakurai shifted to high-end Junmai Daiginjo, launching Dassai in 1990 targeting Tokyo's upscale scene during the bubble economy.
