Wine Advocate 88-90: The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Village offers up aromas of sweet berries, exotic spices, orange rind and forest floor, followed by a medium-bodied, supple and fleshy palate that's sapid and melting, with a pretty core of fruit and a perfumed finish.

Vinous 93-95: The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru now comes from a small 0.2-hectare parcel of vines under 25-years old, tucked just below the Musigny Blanc. So there are now just two barrels. It has a beautifully-defined bouquet, much more complex in fact, than the Les Amoureuses with vivid blackberry, raspberry and mineral scents. The palate is very well balanced with saturated tannins, slightly granular in texture with real depth and grip towards the elegant finish. Stylish.

Wine Advocate 89-91: Aromas of sweet raspberries, cherries and blood orange introduce the 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Village, a medium-bodied, pure and supple wine that's lively and melting, with juicy acids and a saline finish.

Vinous 88-90: The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Village was one of the last to be picked, on September 13. It has a strict bouquet at first, with blackberry, briar and light sous-bois scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and fine depth. It is not the most complex Chambolle Village, though I like the lick of licorice toward the finish. Drink this over the next decade.
