The sleek, delicious and attractively vibrant medium weight flavors possess a lovely mouthfeel while displaying good balance on the persistent finale. This is a quality Gevrey villages and worth considering.

Vinous 89-91: The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Reniards comes from purchased fruit as usual. It has an understated bouquet: black cherries, blackcurrant, touches of incense emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannins, fresh and lightly spiced with clove and hints of white pepper toward the finish. Maybe it just lacks a little persistence, but if you like classical Pinot Noir then this will be the ticket.
