When we think of Turtle Doves, we think of something vibrant, dainty. A little like this cherry pie wine brings. A vibrant and complex wine with a very easy going luxury taste. You have to taste this, to get this.

More info about Summer Dreams

2022: Medium-bodied and electric with energy, bursts of dark fruit, earthy accents, and floral notes are framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and a racy backbone that finishes long and tingly. Spicy, complex, sensational.

100% new French oak, 20% in puncheons.

Lisa Perrotti-Brown 95: The 2021 Stargazing Pinot Noir is medium ruby-purple in color. The nose opens with evocative notes of cranberry sauce, redcurrant jelly, and stewed rhubarb followed by nuances of lavender and underbrush. The full-bodied palate is electric with energy, delivering bursts of red berries, earthy accents, and floral notes framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and a racy backbone, finishing long and tingly.

Decanter 95: The colour of a polished ruby stone harbours a cooling richness framed by mineral freshness, spices, and perfectly integrated tannins. Splashes of elegant red berry fruit intermix with sandalwood and cedar while a cacophony of cream red and black fruit layers linger and build on the full-bodied finish, which is fresh and full of juicy blood orange acidity – a complete and delicious wine from Jayson Woodbridge. Ashley Holland, a protégé of Bob Cabral, works in the cellar and focuses primarily on the white wines of Summer Dreams. A 100% Pinot Noir from West Sonoma Coast, with whole berries fermented in open-top tanks and puncheons with a mix of Demptos, Taransaud, and Cavin barrels and bottled unfined.

Decanter 96: This was one of the first wines Jayson Woodbridge (of Hundred Acre fame) conjured up for his new Summer Dreams label because he loves to stargaze during the summer months. Like what the stargazer sees, this wine offers a multidimensional scope. It’s super aromatic, with a mystical stardust minerality that elevates it. Fabulous rich cedarwood, toffee, and brown spices mixed with cigar box and dried violets, accented by rich conifer notes. The wine has a beautifully structured framework of sappy tannins, supporting plush, brown-spice-scented red berry fruit with impressive length and laser focus. It’s like going to a concert in the Sphere in Las Vegas. In 2019, Jayson Woodbridge of Hundred Acre began producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir under the Summer Dreams label, using fruit from cool-climate vineyards on the extreme Sonoma Coast. This 100% Pinot Noir from the West Sonoma Coast is crafted from whole berries, fermented in open-top tanks and puncheons, using a mix of Demptos, Taransaud, and Cavin barrels. The wine is bottled unfined.

James Suckling 95: Aromas of blue fruit, strawberries and spices such as nutmeg. Medium-bodied with creamy and round tannins and some chocolate flavors. Savory and fruity finish. Drink now.
