Summer Dreams Twilight Pinot Noir
Winemaker notes
The full-bodied palate beams with flavors of wild blueberries and licorice, white pepper and cloves that lead to an undercurrent of violet. Seductive, with a velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing long.

2021
James Suckling 96: Extremely aromatic with a cherry and floral character. Umami. Minerally. Flavorful and racy. White pepper. Cloves. Drink or hold.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown 96: Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2021 Twilight Pinot Noir comes bounding out with juicy blackberries, wild blueberries, and licorice leading to an undercurrent of candied violets, tilled black loam, and Darjeeling tea. The full-bodied palate is rich and seductive, with a velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy.
Decanter 96: The most brooding and dark of the Summer Dreams Pinot Noirs, with plenty of racy acid to balance the density of ripe, succulent black cherry and black plum fruit. It’s got the salty sea-spray notes of a dark, misty fog rolling into the Sonoma Coast from the Pacific Ocean, and that minerality builds on the palate with an intense soy-like savouriness. The full-bodied finish is equally saline and savoury, and winemaker Jayson Woodbridge tells me it's a wine to enjoy with great Japanese food.
