Los Vascos Chardonnay
Los Vascos Chardonnay
Los Vascos Chardonnay has a pure and fresh style. The absence of malolactic fermentation gives it a pleasant acidity and the partial aging process on the lees gives it a nice smoothness on the palate. It is well-balanced, expressive, and fruity, with aromas of melon, custard apple, and physalis, as well as hints of zucchini and pumpkin.
Winemaker notes
Crystalline and bright yellow with golden notes. On the nose, fruit aromas such as banana, papaya and pineapple stand out, joined by white flowers and grapefruit. In the mouth it is fatty and long, with volume and tension that makes it pleasant and easy to drink. Surprising balance, between freshness and complexity.
2022
James Suckling 91: A pure, fresh and restrained chardonnay here with a creamy edge to the lemon zest. A touch of cantaloupe. Creamy, medium-bodied palate with fresh acidity and a composed, supple mouthfeel. No oak. Drink now. Screw cap.
