A true Macallan classic and complex single malt. Matured for a minimum of 12 years on The Macallan Estate in the heart of Speyside, The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old is revered as the classic example of The Macallan and the influence of sherry seasoned European oak casks.
On the nose, dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak, with notes of ginger and nutmeg. On the palate, raisins and sultanas with ginger syrup giving way to sweet cinnamon spice and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long with oak and warming ginger.
