Château Paradis Casseuil wine is characterized by its freshness, intense fruity and slightly wooded aromas. It can be consumed within 2 to 3 years after harvest. The average production of Château Paradis Casseuil is 8,000 cases per year. The choice of a limited yield aims to guarantee high quality wines, respectful of the DBR ( Lafite ) style.
The 2020 vintage has a beautiful ruby colour. It develops a pretty bouquet with fruity and intense notes. It is a supple wine with little body. The grape varieties are vinified separately, allowing for a rich and smooth blend. The wine is finely wooded which gives it a characterful finish. It is best drunk immediately but can be forgotten for a few years.
James Suckling 90: Refined, classy oak gives a smoky, tobacco-like note to the paprika, olives, red cherries and red currants. Light, bright and austere with dry, chewy tannins and a structured finish. Fluid and linear in the middle. Better on the nose.
James Suckling 90: Juicy and easy-drinking red with dark fruit and hints of walnuts and tobacco. Medium-bodied with polished, well-defined tannins. Dry and textured. Drink in 2026.
