Grapes for their Aligoté are sourced primarily from areas below the Clos de Vougeot and near Gilly-lès-Cîteaux, giving the wines classical Aligoté mineral freshness, density, more citrus driven. Fermentation is followed by maturation, sometimes in used and new oak barrels, although more recent vintages (such as 2020 and younger) have seen reduced oak use for greater freshness and energy, making the wine refreshing and easy to drink.
