Wine Advocate 91-93: Originating from deeper soils, Pillot’s 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs Gain expands aromatically with notes of yellow apple, peach and juicy pear, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, ample and textural palate that is deep and concentrated, with a racy spine of acidity and a long, saline finish.

Vinous 93-95: The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Champ Gain 1er Cru has a bright and quite intense bouquet, with just a touch of reduction, cohesive and mineral-driven. The palate is medium-bodied with a keen line of acidity, very sapid, oyster shells and citrus lemon with a long and tender finish that lingers in the mouth. Outstanding.
