Collection: Domaine Paul Pillot

A historic Chassagne Montrachet estate now driven by fourth generation winemaker, Thierry Pillot, whose style is focused on tension, purity and terroir expression. The domaine dates back to around 1900, when Jean Baptiste Pillot, originally a barrel maker, decided to focus on viticulture and created the family estate in Chassagne Montrachet. Today the estate comprises about 13 hectares (roughly 4–4.5 ha in red) centred in the Côte de Beaune and is run by Paul’s children, Thierry and Chrystelle, with Thierry progressively taking full control from the 2004–2007 era.
In addition to the domaine wines bottled as Domaine Paul Pillot, Thierry also runs a small “Domaine/ Maison Thierry Pillot” micro négociant project, using purchased but grower farmed fruit to explore other appellations (e.g. Meursault and Puligny crus).
