Collection: The Classic 2024 Vintage of Billaud-Simon

2024 in Chablis is generally being described as a difficult, very small vintage, but with wines that are often fresh, tense, and classically Chablis in character. While the critical praise for the 2024 Burgundy vintage has been well-established since last year's en primeur tastings, the performance of Domaine Billaud-Simon remains a standout talking point. Tasters have consistently praised the estate's focus in what was a notoriously difficult growing season. Critics note that their signature style; relying purely on stainless steel for the younger bottlings, allowed the true, unadulterated terroir of Chablis to show through beautifully.

2024 Billaud-Simon Chablis (Village): "Balanced and pleasant; it is drinking well now and will easily hold for at least another five years."  - Charles Curtis MW, Decanter

2024 Premier & Grand Crus (Up to 94 Points, Burghound): These are linear, high-energy wines characterized by impressive palate weight, chiseled structure, and the serious aging potential required to evolve gracefully through 2034+.
